Day 1: Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Rail Station/Nepal Border.
Meet with our reperentative drive to Gangtok. Overnight Hotel(B/B only).
Day 2: Gangtok sight seeing. Drive to Rumtek Monastery (23Km) established in the Year 1969. This monastery is the replica of the same monastery in Tsurpu in Central Tibet & belongs to Kagyu sect of Buddhism. Rumtek monastery is also a school for the monks. On the way Back visit The Namgyal institute of Tibetology. This is the only one of it’s kind in India which does research on Tibetan language. Overnight Hotel(B/B only).
Day 3: Drive to Temi Tarku. The only organic Tea Garden in Sikkim & is two hours drive from Gangtok. Stay overnight with a local family in Tarku. Enjoy the local food and local hospitality. Overnight Homestay(B/B only).
Day 4: Drive to Kcheperli Lake. Vist the Buddha Park enroute. A holy Place for the Buddhist. Drive further on to Kcheperli Lake. Stay overnight at a Home stay run by a local family beside the lake. Overnight Homestay(B/B only).
Day 5: Drive to Darjeeling. This is a 4Hours drive by crossing over to the state of west Bengal at Melli. Overnight Homestay (B/B only).
Day 6: Darjeeling Sight Seeing. Start the day with a visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, this is museum dedicated to all mountaineers from around the world. Visit the Everest Museum dedicated to all everesters from around the world. Drive over to Tibetan Refugee centre. Know the history of the Tibetan’s flight from Tibet and their survival in India. Later vist the Happy valley Tea Estate. See first hand how the world famous Darjeeling Tea is made. Overnight Homestay(B/B only).
Day 7: Drive to Phuntsholing (India-Bhutan Border). Its a 6hours drive to the border town of Phuntsholing. The drive goes through the beautiful Dooars in the plains of west Bengal, passing through a couple of wildlife National Parks. Overnight Hotel(Full Board).
Day 8: After Breakfast Drive to Thimpu (172km). Overnight Hotel(Full Board).
Day9: Thimpu Sight Seeing. Overnight Hotel(Full Board).
Day10: Drive to Punakha & Wangduephodrang. Overnight Hotel(Full Board).
Day11: Drive Back to Thimpu and on to Paro. Overnight hotel(Full Board).
Day12: Excursion to Takshang ( Tiger’s nest). A short drive will take you to the foot of the Monastery. Trek up to Takshang Monastry. The story goes that Guru Rimpoche flew on a tigers back and landed here. Guru Rimpoche is responsible for propagating Buddhism in the entire eastern and Nepal Himalayas.
Day13: Drive to Paro Airport for Final Departure to Delhi/Kolkata/Kathmandu/Bangkok
