25 Days Bhutan Lunana Trek Tour is difficult and a long trek. It takes 18 days and demands excellent health and high spirit of adventure as it passes through five passes over 5000m(16,400ft). The lunana trek starts of taking the same route as the Laya trek, starting from Punakha valley.  It is the most difficult region of Bhutan to reach. Lying at an altitude of 4000m(13,000ft) at the foot of the snow clad Bhutan Himalaya that rises to 7000m(23,000ft). The inhabitants are farmer-yak herders famous for their hardy character shaped by adapting to harsh conditions.

Itinerary for Bhutan Lunana Trek Tour
Day 1: Arrive at Paro. Receive and drive to Hotel.
Day 2: Paro – Sight seeing. Overnight Hotel.
Day 3: Excursion to Taktshang Monastery. Afternoon drive to Thimpu. Overnight Hotel.
Day 4: Drive Thimphu – Punakha.
Day 5: Drive Punakha to Tashithang(Trek Head). Trek Tashithang to Goen Damji (2280m). Camp.
Day 6: Goen Damji to Gasa (2800m). Camp.
Day 7: Gasa to Koena (3300m) via Balela pass (3740 m). Camp.
Day 8: Koena to Laya (3880m). Camp.
Day 9: Laya to Roduphu (4100m). Camp.
Day 10: Rest Day at Laya.Camp.
Day 11: Roduphu to Narithang(4150m) via the Tsomala pass (4720m). Camp.
Day 12: Narithang to Tarina(3900m) via Ganglakarchung La pass(5,100m). Camp.
Day 13: Tarina to Woche (3830m)- the Lunana region begins from this village. Camp.
Day 14: Woche to Lhedi(3640m) through the Keche La pass(4,490 m). Camp.
Day 15: Lhedi to Thanza (4060m). Camp.
Day 16: Rest Day.Explore the village and mix with the people of Thanza. Camp.
Day 17: Thanza to Tsochena (4840) via the Jazela pass (5,100m). Camp.
Day 18: Tsochena to Jichu Dramo(4840m) via Lajula pass (5,000 m). Camp.
Day 19: Jichu Dramo to Chukarpo(4450m) via Rinchenzoe pass (5115 m). Camp.
Day 20: Chukarpo to Tempetso lake(4190m). Camp.
Day 21: Tempetso to Maorothang(4190m)via Tampela pass(4,500m) and Umtso lake. Camp.
Day 22: Maorothang to Nikachu(2670m). End of  Bhutan Lunana Trek Tour.
Day 23: Drive Nikachu to Thimphu. Lunch at Wangdue.
Day 24: Thimpu Sight Seeing. Afternoon Drive to Paro.
Day 25: Drive to Paro International Airport for Final Departure.
Extension can be made to Darjeeling,Sikkim or Nepal.
